Great replacement for noisy fans
I originally bought this model to replace some noisy fans in a managed switch. My recent purchase was for a new set to replace the same model I bought over 6 yrs ago. Only downside is they are 12v not 5v like the originals. Beware of that, you may need to use a step up transformer or separate 12v power supply if replacing 5v fans in some devices.

Nice upgrade from OEM whips
Very well made, perfect fit, and those adjustable tips. I replaced the factory 4' whips on my Mack Anthem with these. Increased the height to 13-2, so still just low enough but need to be careful around trees and whatnot. Reception is improved, but still need to do some ground bonding work to bring the SWR down. These longer whips actually increased SWR about 0.2 on 19, more on 1 and 40, so beware if installing on the factory system on a late model truck.
