Art wrapped up in architecture topped with a dusting of mathematics.
This is a lovely book. I was expecting to get the full low down on the aesthetics of his art but I also got the mathematical, architectural and physics aspects also which was a bit bonus.

Wow!
Just read this in under 2 days. Mystery, exestentualism, religion, science, philosophy, symbolism.....what's not to like?. Some chapters were a little uncomfortable ( latent Roman catholic in me ) and made me wonder if it was going down a particular path, but no : he suggests but never preaches. Before this I read Piranesi , but was left cheated, this book didn't do this......and was in the same vein as his previous The Raw Shark Texts. The texts , at times follows his signature 'traveling around the circumference of the pages' and you do need a magnifying glass for some if the graphic texts. If you like literary, thinking person's novels you will like this. Also try Mark Danielewski - similar The daddy of them all : Life , A User's Manual by George's Perec. A few to keep you going, enjoy
