shouldn't have to replace so many coils
Ignitions with breaker points worked well but ignitions with chips built into them do not survive the cold over the winter here. One or two winters and they're kaput. I'm not sure my old lawnmower is worth all the work and cost of replacing coils every one or two years. Somebody must know how to make one that will survive a few cold cycles. I think the potted coils with internal chips need conformal coatings on the parts and more sand in the potting epoxy to reduce thermal expansion! I probably have to replace two coils every year to keep my equipment operating.

Don't expect it to last very long. Modern coils are junk!
This is the third coil in four yrs of weedwhacker ownership. Reminds me of those English motorcycles of the 50's. Ride them for an hour; repair them for two hours! Why can't somebody make an ignition coil that will withstand a winters storage in the cold?

bulbs broken
I bought thirty bulbs which arrived in three different shipping boxes; 10 bulbs to a box. After I gave my excellent rating in eBay's feedback, I found 4 broken bulbs in their individual boxes (2broken in each of two different 10pack boxes). The 10pack boxes were not packed very well (each 10pack was placed in a slightly larger shipping box with some wadded paper in the voids). The shipping boxes were not marked as fragile.
If you buy these bulbs check each of the smaller boxes in the 10packs. If you shake each one any broken glass in the box will rattle!
The unbroken bulbs all work just fine.
