Vacuform canopy
Not for a novice. While the raised lines are noticeable they are not much better than the one that came with the kit. The instructions are clear and have good tips. The canopy has to be cut but that is typical of most vacuformed parts. Very clean and clear. Comes in set of 2. 1 with armored front shield (plexiglass) and 1 without.

Dragon Models Late Production Jagdpanther 6393
Dragon Models Late Production Jagdpanther looks to be an excellent build. Yes I have not started it yet as this is on my list of Armor builds this year. The overall detail is very good. Why EBay asks if its durable is funny since static models are durable only if you don't handle them after they are built. The only caution I have is the DS Tracks they tend to become very brittle after they are painted and are far from durable. I highly recommend Model Kasten tracks as an add on. They are delicate during construction and require patience and care. Once built they are strong and are movable with excellent detail. Dragon Model kits are in my top 5 Model manufacturers for quality with little gaps to overcome (aircraft). These kits are not for a beginner unless you intend to really challenge yourself.

Tamiya R35
This looks to be a really descent kit that I have slated to build later this year. While Tamiya is in my top 5 manufacturers their are some flaws and this is generally with the thickness of the fenders like their other armor kits and need to be ground down if you intend to warp, bend or show damage. Like most kits from other manufacturers the tracks are okay and should be replaced with a more detailed set from Model Kasten if you can find them. Model Kasten tracks are highly detailed and very accurate but are a challenge during construction as they are delicate until they are built. So not for a beginner. I look forward to building this kit and adding the Dragon French Soldiers Sedan 1940 to go with it.
Tamiya's attention to detail is top notch overall and their are lots of aftermarket photoetched parts to enhance their kits from Eduard, Passion Models, Et Models and Voyager if you are looking to add more realism to the kit.
