Massive Value!
I bought these for two reasons; I wanted a smaller speaker for my computer audio rig, and I was really curious to try this brand (based on all the love they've received in the UK).
They took the place of a larger, and more expensive pair of handmade monitors (GR Research AV-1's), and I don't miss their predecessors at all (that said, the AV-1's would certainly perform better in most situations).
The 2010i's have impressed me with their super wide sound-stage and depth.
The bass really grew after a few hours of break in. I haven't tried them with the port plugs (haven't felt the need).
Fit and finish is about what you'd expect in this price range. While they look just fine, it's obvious that you money is going more towards performance and not atheistics.
So, after having these for just a few days, I'm really wondering how some of the floor standing models would be in my main system. May consider a pair of 3050's in the future.....
Update:
After more time playing, and an amp upgrade (from a Sonic Impact to Nobsound), they've gotten even better. I'm enjoying my computer system more than my main system (tubes and big floor standers).
Again, really fantastic little speakers. I'm going to have to try something higher up in their line!

Possibly the Perfect Pack
1 of 1 found this helpful Like many drummers, I've long been on the (seemingly) never-ending quest to find my ideal cymbal setup.
I was looking for a new ride, and kept coming back to videos of the 21" K Sweet Ride. I was about ready to pull the trigger on just the ride when I had a realization about what I was hearing: the ride itself is great, but it's really the cohesion of the K Sweet cymbals together that I was really drawn to.
I ordered the pack, sold my hats, and kept my A crashes (18" medium and 16" thin) in case I needed something a little more forward.
This is a no-brainer set. I love the entire pack. I've gone through a lot of cymbals, but this is the best sounding set I've had (again, thinking of them as a set and not individuals).
They're warm, but not too dry or trashy. You'd be hard pressed to find a situation where these would sound out of place.
The value of the pack is also great. Price top notch cymbals separately, and you'll see that it is easy to spend this much on just the hats and ride.
If you're looking for a top notch pack, that's versatile and not ridiculously overpriced, this needs to be on your short list.
