great fit and function
fit right the 1st time installed, no file work was needed. Installed on two different brands of 1911's.

Not the solid ball i expected
This shot put is hollow and filled with metal filings. It is plugged, and the plug is not easily removed. I drilled mine out to close to the threads in the outer shell, and retapped them with a 1”- 12 fine thread.
I’ll have to buy a 1”fine thread bolt x 3” to use it for my intended purpose.
