iRobot Roomba 550 Vacuum
9 of 9 found this helpful Over all, I am very pleased with the Roomba. I call it my "baby" now. It cleans under my heavy furniture so I don't have to move anything. However it does help to clear the room of clutter or small furniture to speed up the process. The virtual wall and lighthouse units work great to contain the Roomba to the area I want to vacuum.
I bought the Roomba so I could keep my house clean without having to hire a maid service. In the long run I will save money. I'm 63 and vacuuming is not easy for me.
It came with extra air filters. I wish it had come with extra side brushes, since I am still waiting (over three weeks) for these parts due to a bottleneck at iRobot.
I don't like having to clean the brushes and empty the dirt so often. Also, the battery has to be recharged quite often.
