Faster core clocks, lower FCLK. good CPU
1 of 1 found this helpful I replaced a 3600 with this, the 3600 could do 1900FCLK. This 5800x sample can only do 1866. Stable there, but won't even post at 1900. So much for my previously stable DDR4-3800 cl14 RAM overclock. Same timings work at 3733 speeds, though. Good boost performance, incredible rendering upgrade, but runs a lot hotter. Reaching 85+ on a 240 AIO at full stress

Cool board solid midrange but overpriced
2 of 2 found this helpful At the retail price of around 140, this board had no business on the market. At the $100 I got it for, it's a nice upgrade over the budget B550M-ADV board ($80) - for $20 more I got a neater board layout (edge connectors), 4 dimm slots, 2 m.2 NVME ssd slots plus if I want wifi+ bluetooth I can add it via a third m.2 slot just for that, and it has built in RGB + ARGB and a few extra fan headers. So if the price is right, it's a good board to get. If the price is full, you can find a better board (read: ASUS) on sale or eBay for the same 140
