X Wing MPC Model.
Reminds me of a time which now seems long ago...It's true that some people like to collect the models and toys we had .. "Back in the Day.."

BMW R90s 1976 ATE Brakes with Brembo Carbon Ceramic Pads.
The bike is a BMW R90s 1976. The ATE brake system was never as good as the Japanese bikes of the same era. However times have changed. Over time I have renovated the system with braided brake lines. A new brake cable. New calliper pistons that are anodised aluminium from Motorworks UK and now fitted Brembo brake pads that are Carbon Ceramic. These complement the Brembo rotors. Setting the calliper eccentric pin to get the pads flat on the rotors is simple. Boxer 2 Valve videos on Youtube have all the information to do this. I do take the bike to do track days, not race days and the previous pads did suffer from brake fade later on in the sessions. I have only just fitted the carbon ceramic pads so have only been riding on the road. The new pads are very effective and send feedback when trail braking to the apex.
