Quite good, but expensive if full price, i.e. also look at 3D-print options to give yourself a product choice
Quite good quality classic OO-9 rolling stock, but very expensive these days if you buy new, and the models would benefit from metal tyred wheels. You may need to add some weight
The models are a little old and better value can be obtained from 3D-print vendors, though you need to paint those and add weight yourself.
I bought a few some of these.

Great if you like this sort of subject.
The book is quite large on top quality paper and full of historical detail - as far as is known for such a short and short lived narrow gauge line.
The author also wrote a hefty tome on the nearby Ffestiniog railway, and his knowledge of the circumstances of that adjoining narrow gauge railway is necessary to write the history of this one - due to them being rivals.
This book also concerns itself with the rivalry between the two standard gauge branches to Blaenau, one of which bought up and replaced the F&B.
That being said, it's a niche book for enthusiasts in Victorianna, Victorian technology, Victorian business and the slate industry.
All the well known photo's are reproduced in large size at great quality - so I liked the book and don't mind the £35 it cost me in the hope that some more similar books will arrive presently.
