The bolts are long on the lower ball joints. Not like original. No cotter pin.
2004 Ford Expedition. The control arms are good. Fit good. I hammered the upper part of the lower ball joints into place, secured it with retainer ring. But the lower ball joints bolts are longer than the original. So... it won't make the angle when attempting to insert into the lower hole--had to use my reciprocating saw to shorten bolt--which means you have to lift the boot of the ball joint in order to hold the upper part of the bolt with a vise grip to keep it from spinning as you turn the nut. Wish it was original style, but it wasn't. No cotter pin. Just a nut. Unless I did this wrong, the bolt is about an inch too long.
