CDI 133-6343 Optical Ignition Sensor fixed my engine
This was the fix to my engine problem, 2001 Johnson 150. It would not fire at all. At first, I thought my power pack was to blame. I took a nine volt battery and wired it into the trigger output to the pack. While cranking, I touched the 9V lead to to the trigger (while connected) and ground to ground input on the pack. It suddenly fired, which confirmed the trigger was no good. After replacing the original 18 year old Johnson sensor, with the new CDI sensor, the problem is solved and I'm back on the water.

Oh, yeah! Finally a key fob that works.
My old one still worked a little bit, with a new battery, but after a few days it killed the battery every time. Then it worked if you pushed the button several times.
The replacement works great. It programmed easily and has been working flawlessly since! One touch to lock, one touch to unlock. Just like when it was new!
I definitely recommend. Note: replace battery with a new one when you get it.
