No blanking plug for the threaded hole in the white part
1 of 1 found this helpful I removed the front blue part and bolted it to my box without the white angled part. What I had not realised is that at the other end of the white part there is a threaded hole for some sort of cable entry conduit or gland. If you were going to screw this white part on a vertical surface out in the open with the blue part at the bottom, you would need to find a waterproof plug for the threaded hole. Without a waterpfoof plug the rain will run inside on to the wires.

I am unable to test this until I have also purchased a 54 cell solar panel and taken both to my boat. An extensive youtube review gives me confidence it will charge my 48V battery system. Once this is proved I will be back for a few more.

This replaces an item we bought years ag...
This replaces an item we bought years ago identical in all except the body colour is now grey where it was yellow. We use it three times a week to remove the water drops all round the shower cubicle. The old one has developed an electronic fault such that the LED in the button glows dimly 24/7 and although a good nightlight in the ensuite it does mean it needs charging more often. How much dimmer has gone from imperceptible a few months ago even inthe dark to almost as bright as when running.
