Very interesting book
John is amazing songwriter and great musician, but now he shows his talent as a storyteller. The book tells very personal side of the story of his career. Part of it is told by his wife Julie, so it is more like family story about John Fogerty Revival from his dark ages. What is really good for me is that the book contains history behind the creation of CCR records and a lot of music stuff, guitar sound, songwriting etc. I only wish the book contains more of that and less of trials and bad relationship stories. But that's the way it was, so the book is very honest and very personal, which is help us a lot to know a lot of stuff behind the scenes and of course onstages!

Masterpiece
2 of 2 found this helpful This album is one of a kind truly pearl. Fantastic sound, great songs, so B-side is my favorite Beatles album side of all time. Bunch of rock classics here from Buddy's Words of Love to Carl's Honey Don't sung by Ringo and great Beatles songs with unique George's 12-string electric guitar singnature sound. What You're Doing is one of the all-time greats. And what a fantastic finish of the album with Carl's Everybody's Trying to Be My Baby! Side A is a little bit slow and dark with a bluesy feeling like No Reply, I'm a Loser, Baby's in Black, Mr Moonlight etc. The inly concern about this album is the producer George Martin decision not to include best hit single record of the session and release it as a single only - I mean I feel fine of course. I think that the album would look more powerful with I Feel Fine and She's a Woman instead of Mr Moonlight and Kansas City at the end of side A. Overall it is great album of the great band. Try to bit it!
