You will not be sorry when using Platinum Tools EZ RJ-45 connectors!
The EZ-RJ-45 CAT5e connectors are a must for doing a professional job and ensuring little to no mistakes to certifying lifelong 1000Mpbs connections. The major mistakes that befalls even the best network cabling technician is the inevitability of having a crossed pair of the 8-pair CAT5e cable needed to make a seamless and reliable 1Gbps network connection. The material and time saving advantages to re-crimp an RJ-45 connector using the EZ-RJ45 product allows you to ensure every crimp and every pair of wire meets the TIA/EIA standard for Gigabit connectivity. Whether within indoor or outdoor conditions, the connector is rigid and strong. The crimping pins are gold plated (I believe) to ensure a durable conduction of low-voltage energy to end devices (<300 feet). For those seasoned technicians who know the ins and outs of crimping, a quality RJ45 crimper (I use Consolidated Electric) and a Xuron Flush cutter is all that is needed (I do not recommend using the EZ RJ-45 crimper/blade. The alignment of this tool is a bit tricky). I would recommend visiting the manufacturer's website (Platinum Tools) and YouTube to get trained in how to crimp these properly. However, if you are familiar with the wire positions within an RJ45 connector, you will recognize that it does not take a degree to get the results you want. What is the difference a cheap RJ45 connector and an EZ RJ-45 connector? Here is my top 3 issues: 1) cheap RJ45 connectors have poor pin alignment when crimping to CAT5e wiring, 2) cheap RJ45 connectors are harder to see through when inspecting individual wire pairs (by color) before a crimp, 3) cheap RJ45 connectors have brittle connector stirrups causing the cable to move out of place, increasing CAT5e wire fatigue and network latency. For the DIY technician on a budget and wants to maintain job security, I recommend using the cheapest RJ45 connectors out there. However, if you want a connector that pays for itself, in terms of reliable 1Gpbs connectivity, decreased latency and intermittent packet loss, and the easiest way to repair a CAT5e cable without waste and time, then go with the EZ RJ-45 product. After more than 15 years of telecommunication experience, you will not be sorry.

Since we sleep half of our lives...these sheets really help!
These bamboo sheets have been great to sleep on! We use a California King mattress with a Temper-Pedic style foam topper (2-3"). These sheets fits very well (they have elastic bands on corners to maintain the fitted design), are really comfortable (they feel semi-silky to the skin), hypo-allergenic (adds to improving my sleep and reducing snoring/sleep apnea), and they wash well (no shrinkage after washing them a few times). The best part of these sheets I like is the tightly woven fabric and rich color of these sheets. These are not see-through fabrics and when they say "chocolate" color sheets, it is close to a "chocolate" color you can get. The prices for these sheets are not cheap (as compared to other lower priced bed sheets in popular shopping stores) but the quality of sleep I get (since we sleep half of our lives) overshadows this small inconvenience. I do admit that this review is only after having these sheets for approximately 3 months. so only time will tell if tests for durability and wear proves that the price equals time of use (which I measure starting after ~5 years of use). However, we are already purchasing more sheets for the rest of our family and look forward to more restful sleep!

A True Connector for the RF Enthusiast
I have always trusted the Thomas & Betts (bought out by Belden) brand of RG6 (not RG58/59) coaxial compression connectors. These connectors have many advantages than other compression connectors. 1) Other brands of coaxial compression connectors are usually built as a one-piece connector. This leads to improperly grounding and installing a connector onto a coaxial cable, wasting material. Also, you may need to purchase their compression tools to compress or clamp their fittings onto coaxial cabling adding to increased cost of installation. With the Thomas & Betts compression connectors, they come in two pieces allowing you to visually ensure the grounding and mating of the connector to the cable and requires no special compression tools. The Thomas & Betts connectors fit all sorts of low cost compression tools (I use a Shark compression tool from Home Depot. 2) Other connectors do NOT have a way of demonstrating to you that the connector has been installed properly. The best part of Thomas & Betts connectors is the sound it makes (a snap) to let you know that it is firmly seated and compressed on the coaxial cable properly. Why are these 2 points important? With 15+ years of cable plant experience, the number one failure point (95%) of all cables services happens at the connector. The consequence of a coaxial connector that is not grounded and firmly attached to the cable will cause a lack of RF signal to pass between devices, leading to RF signal noise which causes poor TV reception and Internet data loss. The Thomas & Betts compression connectors (when properly installed) guarantees a long lasting/weatherproof service connection increasing the quality and dependability of ISP TV/Internet services. Personally, I like the Thomas & Betts Quad (BLUE) RG6 fittings as it allows me to adjust to the many different sizes of RG6 (not RG58/59) coaxial cabling without affecting RF signal. I highly recommend them.
