Good idea but flawed system
2 of 2 found this helpful I like the idea of this product and I don't care that it isn't flashy or fancy but it does seem to have some significant issues. First is that it seems to turn on frequently; possibly due to it picking up the power on signal from the TV remote. I've just never had that issue with another player. Not really a big deal. We just leave it unplugged when we aren't using it.
The bigger issue is the strange volume variation. The volume level varies up and down tremendously while watching movies such that I'm constantly turning it up and down. It isn't just a large dynamic range, it seems to vary almost like a sine wave with a period of a minute or so regardless of the scene. I checked through the audio settings and tried some different options but it has still been an issue. Might end up buying a used DVD player of better quality.

Simple and works beautifully
Just needed some SPD pedals for a bike that I only ride clipless so I didn't need dual platform/SPD. These were cheap and work beautifully.
