The best of the best.
The best of the best. The third one I have purchased for Stratocasters using Floyd-Rose type units. Perfect fit and beautifully-crafted. Just know that a Strat needs a 37mm and not a 42mm plate. I used the existing plates from the instruments that I modified. All parts are interchangeable on these Schaller and Floyd-Rose products. Great units.

Keep your fender Guitar In Tune
1 of 1 found this helpful Most older Strats, Tele's, Jags, Jazzmasters and Mustangs had their string guides held off the stock with a small spacer that raised the string guide.
For some reason - in these more-modern times, Fender is no longer using this metal spacer on many of today's guitars. This means that the string guides are now bending the two thinnest strings too far down behind the nut towards the headstock. This drastic angle and added pressure and added binding between string and nut, causes tuning instabilities.
If your Fender guitar doesn't have this metal sleeve, or spacer holding the string tree a fair distance off your headstock, you need this product. Remove your old string guide off the surface of your headstock and use the longer screw that comes with this set, to install a new string guide that will make your guitar stay in tuner more-easily.
It is a cheap and easy solution.
