It Will Not Work With Modern Windows OS; Modern MAC requires Steermouse
1 of 1 found this helpful There are 4 similar Kensington Trackballs, none supported by Kensington for some time: Expert Wired, Expert Wireless, Turbo Wired, Turbo Wireless. They are compatible with Mac Tiger OS & Windows 98. A modern MAC can make use at least many of the special features if one buys 3rd party SteerMouse, but not with a Windows PC last I checked. These have 11 special buttons plus originally one cud do chord-button operation (2 buttons at once), all specially programmable to do many, many things, like sideways scroll or go-to-internet-site. The scroll wheels are bad & jumpy. IMHO as a collector I regard the Turbo models as having better bearings. Those who sell these may not realize that while you can use these trackballs to point & click with a modern Windows PC, you cannot use the special buttons with a modern PC. The Vebzite BibleAndTheology (followed by standard suffix) has fotos & details on the 4 models. The Wireless models have very limited range, like 6 feet.

Zero/start foot-button must be treated gently
I really would not rate this as either high or low quality, but only get 2 choices yes & no. I think this scale is very accurate. I used 2 of this type before, but they quit working in about 2 years of use -- the ones I had did not have the computer interface, which I doubt I will ever use anyway. I think the first 2 died prematurely because it has a floor button which you push in to 0 the scale & start the weighing. At first this foot-activated button is easy, but it got hard to push in after a while, so I began giving it a little kick. I think the kicks destroyed it. This time I intend only to use gentle push to zero the scale, even if I have to bend over & reach it with my hand. The foot button should be maintained, I think, with electrical cleaner/lube of the type that does not attack plastic. Keep the button operable with a gentle push, no kicking.

It Wears Out Too Soon; Otherwise 5 Star
This is a great controller w/ ability to jump forward & back, which is very helpful if trying to learn Spanish, jumpiing back to hear it again. Also u can jump far ahead at definite intervals. The fast forward is adjustable to up to very fast. The problem is that the buttons go bad sooner than you would like. So then you are buying another. My Pioneer Harddrive recorder harddrive seems indestructable by constant use. I can't believe how long it has lasted, I think since 2005 still working. But the controllers go bad.
