Works okay in colour laser

Used in a Samsung colour laser. Occasional jam & can be a bit patchy on larger black areas but would buy again. About the ‘heaviest’ paper a Samsung Xpress C480FW colour laser printer can handle. Silk paper does produce better results compared to this - if you want to spend a little extra per sheet.......

Good solution for remote socket switching

Got a couple of these already so I’m happy with them. The receiver socket are not too intrusive and there is a button on them for manual on/off function. The remote easily programs and one of mine is in a brick built shed about 15 meters from the conservatory. Standing inside the conservatory with the door and shed door shut it works all okay so reception must be pretty good. These are wireless as opposed to infrared. To program you just press the button on the receiver socket for a few seconds until the light flashes then you press a button on the remote to set the channel. The remote can manage up to five sockets.

An easy replacement

An old item to review but here goss…. The laser arrived quickly and suitably packaged. It look very similar to the original one but not identical, the circuit board was slightly different for sure but it fitted perfectly. I bought this for a Sony CDP-991 and was quite a straight forward exchange. Using an oscilloscope I found mine was set okay so perhaps I was lucky or are they set at the factory - I suspect luck. The CD player was bought of ebay as working perfectly but was not, the dreaded skipping started. I tried adjusting but just to old and ‘burned out’.
