One of John Carpenter's last masterpieces along with They Live & The Thing
This is a great horror film, which can be placed in the same league as other John Carpenter's masterpieces including They Live and The Thing. The look of the production value and the acting are mostly okay, but the sound and video editing were incredible.
There were two DVD's released for this movie. One was the original DVD released in the late 90's and the re-release in 2003. Opinions around the web indicate that the picture quality on the re-release might be better, but there was no proof or evidence of that so far.

Recommended for budget starter mic for vocals
0 of 1 found this helpful I actually received an AKG Perception 200 and not a 220, but not much difference except for the 10db pad instead of 20db. This mic is great if you want a clean sounding audio for vocals, especially for its price. This is also great for the background vocals/backup singers and even for some instruments. If you want a mic that adds "color" or character to the sound, especially for the lead singer, use a different mic like a real tube mic (or get a preamp/voice processor or you can also add character later in post if that's what you prefer). For instruments, I actually prefer small diaphragms instead of an LDC like this and for voice overs, I prefer the quiet NT1a which I will be buying to add to my own collection soon.
So for starter budget mics that will be mainly used for vocals, I think this and the competing Audio Technica's are much better than those super cheap LDC below $100. It can still be used as a backup as you upgrade mics.
