A real driver, not 555
2 of 2 found this helpful This uses a IR2153 and the FET are 75V. This could be modified for 24V fairly easily. There is a location for a 7812 which is just jumpered. Operates to just under 10V, the cutoff of the driver chip. Over 15V the chip will destroy itself due to internal zener. The relay doesn't serve much purpose other than to prevent reverse power connect which is easy because the terminals are not labeled. Board is laid out for TO-220 and TO-247 if more power is needed. Easy to replace. On mine frequency was 112-307Hz. Wrong capacitor installed, but that should still be acceptable. 35V power caps.

Too low power, can't supply rated watts
Had some electronics with a 80W wall wart. Couldn't even power that up not plugged into anything. Real cute but a joke.

Good basic supply
It only has a has a volt adjustment range. A great value for the price as long as you operate conservatively. Open construction and easy to modify. This does not use voltage doubling on the input power. DiodesGoneWild on youtube has the schematic.
