A LANDMARK STUDY!
This book is THE definitive resource on the Art, Function, and History of the Crooked Knife. There is no better resource for the serious collector! For the casual collector, it is an amazing coffee table book and conversation piece.
The Father - Son team and co-authors (Russell Jalbert & Ned Jalbert) have done an exhaustive historical and social research to put this long needed study together.
The wonderful text is enhanced with AMAZING quality photographic samples of some memorable examples of the Crooked Knife.
This was a very limited, independently published work. It has a craft binding as well as an art binding. Bot versions are currently out of print and there are no current plans for a reprint.
Every collector of knives and American Native tools and art should have this in their library
If you every have the chance to grab a copy, do so immediately!
