Bad out of the box
1 of 1 found this helpful At first sight and feel, the receiver unit is solid with weight and a nice display. The mics seem sturdy but only one set of the test batteries worked and had to use the rechargable batteries I bought (Duracell) to test that the other mic would charge. After hooking the unit up to my pa after fully charging both mics, I found one mic to be cutting out and not maintaining a constant signal connection. This was at a range of 10 to 20 feet. The other mic performed decently for about an hour before it started doing the same thing. Checking batteries in both mics, they were found to be charged. I should have realized that you get what you pay for. The pa (Mackie $900) and speakers (Mackie $400 each) has been working for me with no issues for over ten years so I know it's not my system.
