A good watch for the money.
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased this watch for under $70 shipped. At that price, there really isn't much I can complain about. I'm reviewing this watch against several Swiss divers including the (Quartz) Wenger Sea Force, the (Automatic) Alpina Seastrong and the (Automatic) Glycine Combat Sub. A few of these cost ten times as much.
What I like: The blue and rose gold combination is great. The dial is very well done in a deep blue that catches the sun's rays nicely. Indices are applied and lumed. Both "Invicta" and the winged logo are applied. The case is highly polished except the top of the lugs, which is brushed. Fit and finish is really good and bezel and screw-down crown work well. The seconds hand has a logo counter balance which is really nice. Markers on the bezel and dial line up. Open case back shows the Seiko NH35A movement.
What I don't like: First, the canvas Nato style strap is really bad. The material is so thick it is hard to strap to the wrist and makes the watch sit so tall off the wrist that it catches on everything. It makes an otherwise good watch useless. The canvas also started to peel off the backing material (which looks like some sort of resin-cardboard) after just an hour of use. I quickly tossed the Nato strap for a blue Cordura strap from Hadley Roma. It compliments the dial color and makes the watch really pop.
The second major issue I have is the lume. It becomes totally invisible after about 15 minutes where my other watches would continue glowing for hours. It is bad. Really bad.
But at $70, these are minor complaints.

Good caliper at a great price
5 of 6 found this helpful I have used similar calipers from several companies for many years. This one is true and measures accurately and predictably. Metals are hardened and straight. Movement is smooth, with no grinding feeling. Lock screw works well.

Keeps temps down!
I bought this thermal pad for two laptop projects.
The first was an old HP Envy 17t with a Haswell i7. These have the multiplier and other features unlocked though the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility. I was bump turbo boost up to around 3.79, while not even hitting thermal throttling (power throttling would kick in before). Max temps were around 87c, much better than the hard 99c and thermal throttle I was experiencing before.
The second project was a low end Inspiron 11 with an AMD A9 APU. This convertible users a copper heat spreader and no active cooling. Thermal throttling is fairly aggressive on this and and processor intensive task will really slow down the system. After removing the factory paste and using the pad, I was able to cut about 10c of the core tremps.
This is far less messy than pastes and can be cut to fit the core itself.
