Thin plastic parts and not sized correctly
The plastic mounting arms that come with this are so flimsy that I had to re-use and re-drill the original metal brackets in addition to these brackets so the face-frame could be mounted. Also, the face plate that surrounds the double DIN radio unit is not sized correctly. it's too small to fit around a standard double DIN radio/NAV unit. I had to use a file to make the thing fit my new radio. It does look nice in the dash once mounted (after a bunch of customization with a file), and the wiring kit is well labeled. However, you had better download the full wiring diagram for your car before trying to install/wire this thing. if you don't, you'll find that the subwoofer does not get a signal and won't work. The wiring that comes with this kit has the right plug to interface with the car's main speaker wiring harness and amplifier, but it does not have the additional harness plug to make sure the subwoofer gets a signal. Not that hard to fix this issue (with the vehicle manufacturer's wiring diagram), but this should have been addressed and included with the kit because it is advertised as the correct unit for the factory option of the upgraded stereo and amp setup. Overall, it allowed me to mount an upgraded stereo/NAV unit into an older vehicle, and it looks great in the dash. But it was a lot of work to get it right.

PERFECT FIT and VERY EASY INSTALLATION
For less than $12, this faceplate brought my girlfriend's iPod back to life. It's an older iPod unit, but she really liked it and was thrilled to have it back in new condition with the faceplate replaced with this item. Installation couldn't have been easier and took less than 15 minutes to take apart the iPod and install the new faceplate. A great buy to extend the life of an iPod and not break the bank or cause installation frustration.

It works well but it is noisy
I had one of these many years ago and it got lost when we moved our home. These things work great, but they are noisy. It's only for a minute or two, so it's no big deal, and it saves lots of time when making a large amount of salad for a party. This used unit arrived very clean, with all the parts and the original user guide was easy to find on the web.
