Not only are the recipes simple and elegant (as are Frasier and Niles), but their trademark sarcasm and jabs punctuate the gaps between the goodies and preserve the atmosphere of the series, enhancing the experience one seeks. Even if you don't want to make any food from the book, you'll still get your daily dose of Crane family rapier wit. Salúd!
