Very good, simple, but needs protection from varmits
This quiet, simple feeder outperforms many of the other alternatives, some of which are double or triple the price. If you want simple, no more than 4 feedings / day, reliable, and long battery (lithium AA) life, then this is your huckleberry. You will need to protect it from coons and squirrels with cage. Enclosed batteries ( when does that happen ? ) are fine and lost a long time. Replace with lithium, I suggest.

Best traps for coons without catching other animals.
Traps are very effective with minimal impact on non-target animals. Finish /covering on trap surface increases useful life in wet, outdoor environment. You need the set tool unless you have very strong hands.
