About

I'm a tinkerer of technology. I list a lot of smart home and computer gear that has been purchased to try out in a home lab. My descriptions are accurate. I try to give as much deatail as possible. PET PEEVE: Sellers who list clearly used items as New Open Box, so you won't find any of my listings with used gear in that category. Always open to comments and questions via the eBay message system and will respond ASAP! Thanks for looking at my auctions!

Engine Intake Manifold Vacuum Retainer Bushing Dorman 47099
Mar 17, 2018
Don't waste your time! These are NOT a replacement for IMRC bushings
These are cheap and tolerance is off. Your IMRC actuator rods will pop right out. Hoping this review will save someone from tearing down their upper manifold a SECOND time. Ask me how I know....

Pro X T-6RSS 6U Space DJ 19" Flight Rack Case With 3/8" Plywood For Durability
Nov 23, 2016
Excellent value for the price. Two pairs of handles and solid construction make me a happy camper.
This case is well-made for a low-end case. ABS-laminated plywood. Plywood appears dense and not cheap. The reason I initially purchased this one was the two pairs of handles where most others have only one on each side. I have 2 very heavy amps in this case and some cable storage, and the covers are deep so they more than clear the knobs and decorative faceplates. There are rack rails in both the front and rear, and they are bolted through the wood (not screwed) into a low profile head so it is unobtrusive. If you want top end audio gear, go find yourself a $400 6U case. If you want a case for about a third of that, this is an excellent value for the price. I have speakers and other gear stacked on top of it - its sturdy. The only downside is one that almost all case manufacturers have gone to - rivets. My old gear had bolts and screws. I guess if any work loose, it will be easy enough to drill them out and put a screw or bolt in.
