Belt Clip Dakota Alert 2500 Receiver
This is a handy belt clip Dakota Alert 2500 receiver. If you use Dakota Alerts in an area where you might not always be near the "plugged into the wall receiver" is near by, say like on a farm or a small business, this is a very handy device. Clip it on your belt and you receive alerts when your detectors are activated.
Works very well.

Great mount if you can find a place to bolt onto the vehicle frame.
This tablet mount holder works very well for my needs. In fact, I have purchased two for two different vehicles.

Perfect Volunteer Fire Fighter Radio
The Baofeng UV-82 and the smaller (and slightly less capable) version are essential in the volunteer fire service (there are 700,000 volunteer firemen, 89% of fire departments are volunteer). The old standard, the Motorola, is very expensive. The Beofeng are inexpensive (because, darn, they tend to get destroyed when you are... well, fighting fire. Dropped into the muck on the floor, dropped on concrete, soaked in water, etc.) So, it is awesome to be able to purchase an inexpensive and capable radio replacement. I program my radio (to use named channels, such as Tac 3 or Tac 4) using my Mac. This version, the 82, listens and can transmit on two frequencies (such as dispatch and a tactical frequency) very handy. The smaller version can listen but can only transmit on one.
