Disk lighting should be the new standard.

I am a fan of using these disk type of lights. If you have a low roof line with no attic space, these lights will install in a standard ceilling electrical J box. If your an electrician, this is a big deal. Your options for lighting placement is emensily increased during a remodel. I also like that they are tight fitting to the ceilling illimitating unwanting attic the living space air migration. lastly, these lights are nice looking, and there are becoming more option styles on the market. Halo now has an option with a different look.
