Good product but didn't fit my rifle.
1 of 1 found this helpful I have a Savage Model 4C (cir1940). This new magazine is too short to fit my older model rifle. It does not allow the bolt to strip the cartridge from the magazine for insertion into the chamber. I found an original magazine from Jack One Distr. that, of course, works perfectly. The original magazine looks like it should hold six rounds but doesn't. It's that extra length that makes it work. I'm guessing that there was a specification change to a newer rifle that accounts for the problem. Savage customer service couldn't help but did provide the names of organization that might help. Dan's Gun Room is working with me for a refund less restocking (it's a tough business). That said. The product got to me quickly, it is well made, it fits into the rifle (a tad bit short) and the store is responding well to resolve the issue. I would not recommend this product for 'older' rifles. I would recommend to the manufacture that they change the description of this product. They may contact me to obtain any pictures, measurements or additional description.

needed mod
A needed mod for the 10/22. Factory standard trigger is 'heavy' for easy target shooting. This 'light' trigger is one of those must have mods for the 10/22. If some match requires a heavy trigger then changing is a quick and easy process.

2 of 2 found this helpful Just got my 10 22. With only one time loading the magazines I was convinced that something needed to change. This loader works well, saving my thumb and making loading much easier. It does take some practice to use properly, but gets better each time I use it. My thumbs thank you.
