Oven Latch Replacement
This is the fourth time I have replaced this part on my Whirlpool wall oven. The other times have been for using the self cleaning
cycle and melting the plastic parts of the latch with the high heat. This is the first time that I have replaced the part myself (and Grandson). Getting to the part was a nightmare, a miracle that my Grandson was successful after several hours of removing parts of the oven to get to it. It is working and I am relieved to have it over with! I have also replaced the door hinges at least 4 times they spring real easy, my son-in- law replaced them for me each time. As for value the parts cost me $188.98. The last time I replaced these very parts with an appliance service was 5/9/08 for $500.00. HAPPY TO BUY THE PARTS!
