Best vacuum for wood floors and area rugs
2 of 2 found this helpful After countless hours of research, I narrowed it down to this vacuum and it has performed better than I expected. You can't go wrong with the cordless option - it's just so easy to use. It easily swivels around chair and table legs, with little effort. The suction is great and works well on hardwood floors on one setting. The second setting activates the brush and works really well on area rugs.
The battery charges with ease, even though it requires to be removed (one click, really it is no inconvenience whatsoever). The best part is that if the battery ever fails in the future - there are replacements available! Not so with some of the other cordless vacuums that you'd need to replace the entire unit.
Super easy to empty and light weight. It makes vacuuming a breeze and I no longer dread getting out the broom or lugging my main vacuum around. I should have bought this years ago.
