Rectorseal 66335 7-Inch by 7-Inch Metacaulk Fire Rated Putty Pads Box of 20 Pads

Easy to use

The Rectorseal putty pads handle and apply well. Paper backing on each side peels off easily, instructions printed on each piece. Sticks well to multi-surfaces and also to itself. Can be tooled into tight spots, can be cut as needed with scissors. It is a bit too "gummy" to cut gracefully with a knife. Have adhesive remover handy to clean up tools etc. One 7x7 sheet is more than enough for a single switch box. I cannot attest to the acoustic or fire block properties yet but the stuff is heavy and dense enough to give positive expectations.

Stylish and sturdy.

Stylish, good finish quality, reasonably sturdy, twin fan motors will remove every hint of smoke or odor. Safe, rounded corners with no visible seams. I usually use the lowest setting. Lamp system has just one setting. It is not super bright but just okay. Works great as a night light. For this price point it should at least have a hi-low setting at least. The only negative is the noise level. It's okay while cooking, it won't drive you crazy or anything, and it's always good to have more exhaust power than you need. But even on the "quiet" setting, you will not want to leave it running in the background during dinner. The highest level sounds like it could extract your furnishings and small unattended children.

Casio SA-77 mini

This Casio is obviously not a sophisticated keyboard with serious sound quality. But it is great for what it is. As an adult musician, I keep it handy for those moments when I want to plunk out a melody in my head or practice chords and scales with on-line lessons. I'm sure it would be a great starter keyboard for kids. It does not have a record feature, which would be a useful addition.
