Excellent easy upgrade
This is a fantastic way to cheaply modify a flightcase, and the quality is very high, the wheels have decent bearings and the plastic is robust and not brittle.

Original replacement part installation tips
It certainly isn't a high quality speaker but if you want the original part.. this is it. The foam surround on my old one disintegrated. No need to remove speaker grill as whole door panel has to come off.. prize out top two star bolt covers also prize out handle cover to access two further star bolts. Start in middle and work around it. Two more bolts at the bottom of door. Prize out plastic around door lck pin. Lever panel off door it is clipped in. Unclip e window loom. Change speaker!

Nice clear sound and enough power for most gigs
The main benefit of this amplifier is that with it's two way design you can hear yourself really clearly and as Otto Williams who used one said it does not colour the sound of your bass. He still uses Hartke.
The tilt back design helps you get the most from this compact and easily transportable amp. Ideal for people gigging around London who maybe rely on taxis or car sharing and therefore need a compact amp.
Enough EQ control to deal with the stage/room resonances. Otherwise nice and simple to use. Fantastic sound and good amount of power.
