Defective - Only LCD Backlight Lights up - Does not Display Weight

Upon installing the batteries, the LCD display lit up but did not display any weight numbers at all upon standing on the scale.

Do NOT Buy There "Compatable" Blades

They do not stay sharp very long and my shaver drags across my face rather than smoothly. After using them foa about a month, I threw them away in favor of the more expensive but reliable Phillips Norelco HQ8 replacement blades which only require replacing about once a year.
