I have experimented with a couple of setups as I initially had noise on the phono setting but further tests proved it wasn't the amplifier. The 8000a now sounds awesome hooked up to my old Tannoy 607 speakers. Really happy with the amplifier and the seller.

Perfect for the job
Bought this for a film negative archiving project. The Hama ring binder is perfect for the job. It is well made, a useful size if you hav lots of film and the protection box is a welcome addition which reduces the risk of accidents. Recommended.
