Great product.
2 of 2 found this helpful Had to remove the base plate and switch the guide pin to the other side of the mag. (My Ruger MK1 is from 1964, originally from my Grandpa.) The spring is very strong, took some trial and error and a good amount of effort. The whole process on the first mag took about five minutes. The second mag took about 3 minutes.
There's a very brief break in period. The mags were just slightly tight on inserting and ejecting from the gun. That passed after 3 or 4 cyclings.
The mags are easy to load and work smoothly. Very satisfied with the overall quality and construction. All metal except the follower and the base plate which are both a silver ish grey plastic or polymer.
I would have preferred a metal base plate, purely for aesthetics. I prefer the look of the metal base plate.
Don't get me wrong, I am still very satisfied with the purchase and am seriously considering buying another set of two.
