You get what you pay for

Hi For the past 40 years I have been using disposable razors, with intermittent periods using various electric shavers. I never found one I was happy with. I recently bought a cheap battery electric shaver, it was OK but only lasted about a month then failed, it became loose, noisy, the batteries ran flat. Then I saw an advert for the Braun, thought what's to lose and bought it on EBay. I charged it up and tried it....... What a difference, the Braun was quick, the batteries lasted about a week between charges, and it coped with hair of various lengths (so I don't need to shave every day) without stalling or pulling at my face. I have been asked to comment on what I like or dislike about it. There is nothing I dislike, but if I am to critisise something then I wish the LED to indicate charging was a bit brighter. Better than a drop tester.....

I have used a similar device before I retired, that one cost well over £100 so I was doubtful when I ordered this item. On power up it came on in Spanish and the instructions were a little vague in the instructions. After reading through a couple of times I managed to change it to English. I have used it for batteries for commercial UPS units rated 40 Ah, and marine batteries rated at 113 Ah and 1000 MCA on a stored solar power unit. I then went and tested the batteries on the family vehicles. It performed without problems. I am satisfied with it it so far has done everything I expected from it. Any criticisms? Only I would like to see it go below 100 A CA and a little more damping on the probes to prevent false readings when you have difficulty getting the crocodile clips to stop on the battery terminals. I would recommend the device so far it has done everything it says on the can T
