Great for one use; dry very quickly.
I ordered these pens for black wedding invitations, and upon receiving them I could not have been more excited. They wrote smoothly, and they were very well pigmented. They had a wonderful gold sheen that looked absolutely beautiful against the black paper. The gel pen was the only one which I was unsatisfied with, but I had expected that as I am not a fan of glitter gel pens-- it shows up as a very tacky yellow gold on white paper, but has no presence on darker shades.
The problem, however, came roughly a week after receiving the pens. I own many Cricut brand pens, as well as many other more expensive felt tip pens, and I am very cautious with closing pens properly. After testing the pens, I closed them, and set them with the rest of my Cricut pens, assuming that they would survive the wait. A week later, I grabbed one of the 2.0 Calligraphy Pens to write some things with-- It scratched against the paper with an all-too-familiar squeak as it left a splotchy trail of faint ink. Not wanting to blame the pens, I shrugged it off, assumed I had closed the pen poorly and grabbed the other 2.0 pen in the package. Same problem. Every single pen that had come with this, with the exception of the gel pen, had dried up and was barely able to make a single line. I had purchased a few other Cricut pens at the same time, and decided to test those as well, to see if perhaps it was a problem of my own making, yet they were all fine, as were all of my older pens by Cricut which have lasted me well over a year. It was incredibly disappointing, and I am now second guessing purchasing more Cricut brand pens.
