BLU-RAY MAKES IT EVEN BETTER
I have been a fan of Band of Brothers since it came out, and consider it one of the greatest war films ever made.
And it was made even better with 1080p on a 120hz LED screen. The actual drops on D-Day are awsome in HD Blu-Ray. And the sound is equally incredible.
Not all old movies see a great improvement when remastered to Blu-Ray. But Band of Brothers was greatly improved.

Great scanner for the price.
1 of 1 found this helpful I have been using the Moviemaker a while now. I have converted a bit over 200 7" reels. Now, is this as good as a Moviestuff scanner? of course not. But does it produce a decent quality digital video of your 8mm and super 8mm films? Yes. I guess one must be sure of what they are buying here. You are not buying a $4,500 Moviestuff scanner, which saves the video onto a computer, rather than a SD card. That means that the Wolverine will have a compression artifact, but I do not think it is significant at all.
After I convert a film, I take the SD card to my computer, and use my Adobe film editor. With a decent editing software program, you can really make the Moviemaker video into a very decent quality video, and eventually a nice DVD.
Lastly, I have found the technical support to be splendid. They are quite responsive, and always willing to noodle out an issue.
I like the Wolverine Moviemaker Pro, and it does justice to the home movies I convert (I only do home movies filmed aboard Navy ships).

SILENT RUNNING: A TRUE SCI-FI CLASSIC
