Genuine key with the RF chip in it necessary to work with Ford vehicles

This key is compatible with the anti-theft ignition system (RF chip) and the remote control system (door locks, etc.). Both have to be programmed separately. The owner can program the remote control functions, but a locksmith or dealer with a special computer that plugs into the OBD connector under the dash is required for the car to recognize the key as genuine. Be advised, this service will cost another $50 dollars or so, but it adds the new key without removing any old keys.

Careless overpaint, not factory finish

Purchased 4. Painting on each was flawed, with some areas of incomplete coverage that left a rough texture and some of the underlying color visible. There was even one spot where I could see the peeling edge of the original paint that had just been sprayed over without proper sanding. Inside the house or from a distance they look fine, but in the sunlight and up close, they are very disappointing. These are bolt-ons, so you have to remove the wheel to replace them. Be sure to inspect yours thoroughly before installing, or you will have to remove and replace your wheel twice more to get a replacement.
