Supersonic SC-20H 2.0 Channel DVD Player +All Region-Free Multi-Zone NTSC/PAL

So far so good

I purchased this Supersonic dvd player partly because I own two of their other products that have performed well so far and primarily for the USB slot and to compare it to the similar LG unit that I also own. To my surprise, this unit actually has more features than the LG. The USB slot plays correctly encoded videos smoothly but it also played a dvd file that I did not encode into an AVI container and that didn't play in the USB slot of the LG unit. The remote is well designed and it's very important to review the user manual fully before operation in order to ensure that you have set it to region free. I've had it only a brief time so I'm hoping that it doesn't fail shortly but I intend to use it frequently yet gently to try to preserve its life.
