A classic SNES KOEI strategy Game
When I was about 13 or 14 I was introduced to this game by my best friend. I had only played one other strategy game to that point, but I was instantly hooked. The gameplay is addictive, and you are drawn in by the story. The music is limited, just as many games of the era, but it doesn't matter! This game will keep you playing for days on end because you want to beat it! Even after you beat it there are several other scenarios from which you can start. The really cool part is the ancillary characters you can hire to fight your battles alongside your army. I give this game a 10/10.

Epic SNES Shooter
0 of 1 found this helpful I have been arguing with my kids on the value of a good shooter. These days everyone is focused on the first person, but in the 80's and 90's it was the 3rd person shooter that had gamers pumped! Darius Twin for the Super Nintendo is one of the best, most compelling shooters I've played in a long time, and I have been a gamer for awhile now.
First, the graphics utilize the full 32-bit capabilities of the SNES, and each level brims with colors. Each sprite adds character to the game, and you'd be hard pressed to find too many games with better graphics in the era.
Second, the gameplay is both exhilarating and exasperating. Enemies come out of every orifice and from every side of the map. Additionally, this is a two-player co-op game, of which there are almost none these days. There is much to be said about plopping down next to a friend or sibling and just playing right next to each other!!!
You should definitely try this game out. 10/10
