This is great!
At f8, you've got a Tessar, identical pictures to a nice Rollei. At f7, the contrast decreases but the sharpness doesn't--an awesome feature to help out in harsh lighting conditions. The lens is easy to clean at the iris area because the rear element is non-adjustable (can't miss) and held in place by 3 convenient screws; thus, removing most dust is convenient. I bought it because of its design heritage and found it even more useful than expected. Its also compact, which wasn't necessary, considering my huge XE camera, my 49 to 55mm adapter ring (matches new lens to my old system), 81a, and big metal lens hood. :) You can expect this lens to easily outperform most zoom lenses. It has average performance for a normal length Minolta lens, except at f8 where a clean sample of this lens can exceed most lens testing equipment for resolution. If wide open, its a bit too modern looking for my tastes. However, at f7, f8, and f9.5, this lens has a nice classic Tessar look for ultra-realism and adjustable contrast. What a great little thing!

A very very comfortable mouse!
It is extremely comfortable. Also, it is a bit "fast" so you probably want to turn it down a couple of steps in control panel / mouse. The bonus is that the high dpi mouse has a more fluid motion with the mouse pointer. And, it supports high resolution monitors better too. With more signal density per movement, the mouse pointer won't judder when the computer is busy. Looks sort of elegant, almost like carbon fiber. It stays clean too. It isn't clickless, but it is quieter than most mice. I really like the quiet!
