Nice Update to an Old Car
2 of 2 found this helpful Bought this Grasshopper for nostalgic purposes and found that Tamiya has updated a few problem areas from back in the 80’s. The oil filled shocks fix the largest issue and modern tires/wheels take care of the handling. I added ceramic bearings and a 540 can motor. Very happy with the car. Would recommend this Black SP version to anyone looking to get back into the hobby after a few decades.

Great product, excellent value
I installed these 60mm shocks on my tt-02 chassis rally car. They are adjustable to any track condition, come with 3 sets of springs and mounting hardware. Great value for the price IMHO.

New Tires for an Old Car
Got these tires for my rere Frog a few weeks ago. They fit nicely on the old wheels and provide much needed traction in corners. The original tires just slide right or left, but these grip much better. Great upgrade, will buy again when these wear out.
