A Wonderful Surprise

I bought this book because the price was right and I am really into all kinds of Needlework. I highly recommend this book if you are interested in identifying different types of needlework, especially on antique textiles. It really is nicely done for a reference book. If you are looking for patterns, etc. I do not recommend this book, however. There are other books out there with better explanations of "how-tos" than this one.

If you like hats...you will love this book!

I decided to buy the book because I liked the hat on the cover and the price was right. I then found this book to be sooooo inspiring! And that's just looking at the pictures. If you have any imagination at all you will have a wonderful time with this book. You learn the basics of going from an ordinary store-bought hat to an extraordinary fashion accessory of your own.

If you like fun & funky, buy this book!

This is the second copy of this book that I have purchased. The first one I ended up giving away to a dear, creative friend who drooled over it with me. If you are a sewer, knitter, crafter, beader, etc. you will love this book. Jackie gives such great ideas for using the ordinary and even some of the left-overs from other projects and turning them into stylish, extraordinary pieces of one of a kind jewelry. She stimulates the imagination with her ideas.
