Why change a good product?
Someone messed up at Promag.
This item used to have a smooth grip sleeve. It was similar to the S&W factory item and great for concealed carry.
The ones in stores have this horrible “pimple” texture that looks like a side rash waiting to happen. In spite of the pictures, this item has that texture too. Pay the extra 8 bucks for the factory magazine. It is worth it.

Tight fit. Good.
This is a high-quality holster. It will fit very tight at first. That means your gun won’t fall out though...
Tough leather. Spring steel clip keeps it tight on most pants.
