Works fine at 48 VDC output
I use this with the output set to 48 Volts, to feed two MOSFET gates through 510 Ohm/5W resistors.and 12 Volt/6W zener diodes The input voltage varies from 12 VDC to 28 VDC. It works like a charm, so do my MOSFETS. Perfect. Just what I needed. But there is also a remark. The output capacitor is rated for 50 Volts, so in order to avoid problems I changed it with one rated for 63 Volts. If you intend to use it above 40 Volts, just change the output capacitor to be on the safe side. .

    Excellent capacitors
These capacitors are really excellent, as long as you don't go beyond the frequency specifications (50 kHz). I used a pack of 10 of them connected in parallel (with copper bars), to feed an induction coil, at 50 KHz, with really big currents ( 30 A). Although the 4 mm2 cables connecting the capacitors to the coil overheated (the cable insulation even melted in one place), these capacitors stayed REALLY COOL WITHOUT ANY VENTILATION AT ALL - which tells us that they do what they promise. I have seen the same capacitors used at about 200 kHz, but in this case they become very hot and I do not advise you to use them under such conditions for a long time - maybe a good ventilation would help, but still we are too far from the manufacturer's specifications. 5 stars from me, as they are problem free and do what they say they do at a very fair price.
