Quality just isn't there...
I used this product only once. The top portion detached from the base almost effortlessly when I went to handle this thing for cleanup. There appeared to be a couple of small welds. It goes without saying they were inadequate for securing the grater to the base. It was almost comical. I wasn't manhandling this product in any way. I was simply looking to disassemble the parts and take them to the wash. I've yet to find a product like this, which, by the way, is a very simple concept and design, that isn't of inferior quality. I hope I just got a lemon...
